LEARN ABOUT US
At Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital, we’re proud of our history as well as the educated team that makes up our hospital staff. We invite you to meet our veterinarians and learn more about who we are!
Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital strives to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art veterinary care with old-fashioned values. The team here at Rocky Gorge is committed to providing the best, most complete veterinary care available to the pets of Laurel, Maryland and surrounding areas, 24 hours a day.
We care deeply about each and every one of our patients, and want everyone who comes in to our practice to feel at home.
Dr. Leeland Curtis “Buzz” Morley Sr. founded Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital in 1950. It began as a 1,500 square foot, red brick building at the same location we stand today. Upon his retirement, Buzz handed down his practice to his son Dr. Charles Bruce Morley, who then passed it on to Dr. Steven Wolchinsky in 2005.
Dr. Wolchinsky has worked at Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital since 1987, and no matter how large the hospital gets, he will always ensure it runs with the old-fashioned values with which the Morley family began Rocky Gorge.
We are proud to have been serving the community for more than 65 years, showing just how committed we are to being here for the long haul.
