Primary Care Veterinarians and Surgeons, Imagine...

Imagine yourself working in a successful, thriving 58-year-old companion animal hospital where we care as much about our Healthcare Team as we do about our patients, clients, community, and environment.

Imagine, now, working in a brand new, state-of-the-art, 18,000 sq. ft. hospital and pet resort where we successfully blend tomorrow’s technology with yesterday’s old-fashioned focus on care and courtesy.

Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital and Resort in Laurel, Maryland, is searching for primary care veterinarians and surgeons to join our Healthcare Team and work with an exceptional team of eight veterinary professionals in a very fun, family environment.

We will offer you the tools you need to practice and the environment in which to thrive.  We are family-focused; appreciating our hospital family as well as giving you time to enjoy your own family.  We understand what is important in life and we’re looking for associates who share our values.

We believe in clinical excellence. We have two spacious surgical suites and one dental suite with two wet tables. We have wireless blue-tooth monitoring of our patients.  We have digital radiography, ultrasound, and CAT scan as well as a staff sonographer with over twenty years experience. We have an in house laboratory.  We actively use the web to enhance communication with our clients.

Any applicant should possess leadership abilities, effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, and an interest in growth and development. Coaching of our entire Healthcare Team is an integral part of the Rocky Gorge commitment. Internship or equivalent high quality clinical experience is required.  Excellent compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualified applicants are invited to contact Dr. Steven Wolchinsky, our Director, via sawvet@aol.com, cell 410.442.1146, work 301.776.7744 ext 111, or fax 301.776.1575.
